"BOUQUETS FOR BOOKS" RETURNS NOV. 9-14
TO COLLECT NEW CHILDREN’S TITLES FOR AREA LIBRARIES

The return of "Bouquets for Books" coincides with a difficult time for area public libraries, which are grappling with steep cuts in state funding.

From Nov. 9 to 14, Connells Maple Lee will collect new children's books for Bexley Public Library, Southwest Public Libraries and Worthington Libraries.

In exchange for donating, customers will receive a free bouquet for each new children's book they bring to one of our stores at 2408 E. Main St. (Route 40), Bexley; 2033 Stringtown Road, Grove City; and 615 High St. (Route 23),Worthington.

Bouquets are limited to three per family per visit, while supplies last. Used books will not be accepted.

WELCOME VICTORIA'S FLOWERS CUSTOMERS

In August, Connells Maple Lee acquired the business operations of Victoria's Flowers, 1462 Bethel Road in the Bethel Centre strip mall.

Victoria's customer list and phone lines were transferred to our Worthington store, 615 High St. (Route 23).The store is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Mark Kollath is the store manager.

NEW STORE IN POWELL

Construction is under way on our new store at 8573 Owenfield Drive, off Route 23, in Powell.We expect to open it in January, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
